At Jade Mountain, owner Nick Troubetzkoy’s spacious, open-air sanctuaries sit high atop cliffs with the island’s only view of both the Piti & Gros Pitons. These coral-tiled spaces, accented in locally quarried stone, feature 20 different species of tropical hardwood flooring hand-picked from the rain forest of Guyana. Luxurious spa treatments from the resort’s boutique spa Kai en Ciel (House In Heaven) utilize 5,000-year-old Indian Ayurvedic traditions. The Jade Mountain Club Restaurant wraps around a colorful infinity pool and dishes up the creations of award-winning chef Allen Susser. Produce, fruit, and cocoa beans are manufactured on the resort’s organic Emerald Estate farm, an old 18th century sugarcane plantation. With over 1,000 cocoa trees, the resort offers in-house chocolate manufacturing, allowing guests to sample chef creations, sip on chocolate-infused cocktails, and even try their hand at creating their own chocolate delicacy.

We had a week here and have been spoiled beyond belief. The place is just a one off as a concept and made really special by the amazing staff everywhere. Our room JE2 a star sanctuary was at the top just under the restaurant. The room faced south with panoramic views of the Pitons. Much to my disappointment it never had sun at any point during the day and as we love the sun we had to go to the beach. That was not really the plan, I don’t like sand or the sea☹️. The beach has very comfortable beds and a lovely happy man comes along snd gives you cold fragrant flannels and sprays you with orange water!!! You can have infusion water of the day. The food in all the restaurants was delicious, great seafood and yes the burgers are great ! Thank goodness for the shuttle up and down the very steep hill. Roger the driver had us in stitches 😂😂 Too many fantastic staff to mention all by name but Carla one of our major domos, Ned at dinner deserve mentioning and all the cleaning staff who we never saw 💋💋

This is the nicest resort that I have ever stayed in my life. It was beyond anything I could imagine. No windows. No walls. Exposed to a tropical nature oasis. We stayed in the Sun room / sanctuary which had a king size bed surrounded by floating nests that protects you from bugs. At least 8 ceiling fans were in full motion including a Dyson humidifier so we were very comfortable. I was worried I would get hot since we were in the Caribbean. We splurged on a private dinner experience on the beach down the hill from the resort since it was my birthday. The food …amazing. We ate at the restaurant onsite and ordered room service for breakfast. The room also has an open outdoor shower and toilet so you don’t have any privacy. Recommend you stay at this location with a loved one or your spouse or boyfriend. They have cars onsite to take you to different locations and a zillion excursions are available. Several gift shop’s onsite. We had customized spa massages and they were amazing. The price for this resort is money well spent. To see nature, the 2 pitons / mountains and splash in the infinity pool every day was heaven. There are only 26 or 29 rooms on the property so plan accordingly. 10 stars!!

Unbelievable luxury, taken to the next level by a staff that is incredibly thoughtful and professional. An incredible experience, with some of the best sunsets you will ever see. Highly recommend the visit to Emerald Farm and cooking class with Chef Elijah, a culinary savant!

Stop......Go book your trip now, then come back and read this. Jade Mountain is perfection. The luxury ride from the airport was filled with great conversation with Donna who talked about the local culture and sights on our drive. She drove carefully and before we knew it, we were at the resort. We were upgraded to a Sun Sanctuary and it was HUGE. The pool, bed, and space was phenomenal. We did not have an issue with mosquitoes but the hotel also provided spray and candles. Our housekeeping staff was impeccable and paid attention to small details like leaving a microfiber towel for my glasses and wrapping my really long phone charger with a velcro strap. Ain, Vince, Filliner, and Carla were our major demos. All took great care of us, but Ain was with us for most of our days and he had a genuinely kind, caring personality and exemplified top notch service. The food is delectable even room service. We had breakfast everyday in our room. I highly recommend the Green Fig and Saltfish, the bakes, and the coconut bread. We also had scrambled eggs, the 60 min egg, and quinoa porridge and they were amazing. We had some lunches at the beach and they were great. Every dinner was spent at the Jade Mountain Club where Edmond and the rest of the staff were attentive and brought incredible meals. The menu changes each night and we made sure to finish with a scrumptious dessert and cocoa tea. The beaches are as perfect as other reviews have noted. Staff is ready to set up a cabana with towels for you. Need anything else? Simply put out the yellow flag and an attendant magically appears to help. We splurged on the Chef on Wheels experience because we love to cook. Chef Salvatore set up a mobile kitchen in our room and walked through how to cook a 3 course meal including ceviche, tempura shrimp, and steak. He also brought a delicious dessert for us. Ain served us to make the experience 5 star. We highly recommend the Chef on Wheels not only for great food, but the opportunity to share time with an incredible chef and learn more about the St. Lucian culture through food. I attended yoga each morning at the Celestial Terrace overlooking the pitons with Laura and Nelson. Both offered phenomenal classes that were appropriate for beginners with options for those who practice more often. The gym is small but well stocked with plenty of dumbbells, treadmills, an elliptical, an upright bike, and strength machines. The gym is air conditioned and each day I went, there was no one else there. The success of Jade Mountain is rooted in their dedicated and caring staff. We appreciate everyone behind the scenes as well from the landscapers, maintenance, laundry, and food staff who work tirelessly to maintain the beauty of the hotel and care of visitors. That coupled with incredible architecture and the pristine natural beauty of St. Lucia make this a worthwhile investment in a vacation of rest and relaxation.

One of a kind place…couple thoughts… Arrival - the road is really not that bad; a little bumpy but they take it easy; check-in - straight to room and enjoying life in less than 10 minutes. Room - as described; pool is great - should have brought a float but I’d probably never have gotten out Beach - cabanas were great; service was great; bathrooms great - so yeah, great Food - it was more Caribbean than I anticipated; it was all good quality - especially the fruit Tipping - people seem worried about this in other posts; no one in the staff had their hands out; no one “expected” a tip; compared to the overall cost - tip - if you can afford this place you can afford to tip Misc - Bugs - I was worried about mosquitoes as they love me; but I didn’t see any - maybe because we were up a bit in a Moon sanctuary. Heat - sun is intense but the fans make for easy sleeping. Noise - birds were no issue, just regular chirping; people were another matter at times - it is open and sound travels; people need to be mindful
